I am a Dutch National with more than 20 years experience in the field of Logistics. Educationally, I hold two Bachelor of Science Degrees, in Business Economics and Industrial Management. I have had the privilege of working internationally for companies in The Netherlands, Ghana and Malaysia. These experiences provided me the opportunity to grow within the field of logistics and the liberty of working within an array of multicultural environments. The experience which I have procured over the years, has all culminated with the founding of Art of Supply Chain. A Supply Chain consultancy company that is focused on improving the quality of my clients' organizational operations.

By merging my experience within multicultural work environments and logistical skills, I have expanded upon over the years, I have stepped into the world of Entrepreneurship to build a successful company. I share my knowledge of Procurement, Operations, and Sales, from my years of expertise, to advise my clients on implementing workable solutions within the global and local markets, taking into consideration the latest technological trends.

2017 - 2018
I held a Top Managerial role, where I focused on management and improving Operations. In this function, I analyzed and worked with Risk Management and Waste Optimization, learned to Strategize efficiently, and gained the opportunity to witness, at an executive level, the day-to-day operations of a company that hosts and operated several hundred trucks, a large operational staff and a million square feet of warehouses and yards.

2013 - 2016
I worked in Sales of transport, storage, and other logistical services, where I operated in the capacity of Account Manager and Salesman, for a wide variety of industries within differing supply chains. This afforded me the opportunity to receive first-hand experience, of the delicate balance required, for the intricate relationship between the supplier and their customer.

IOI-LODERS CROKLAAN (GHANA)
2008 - 2012
In this position, I oversaw the monitoring and controlling of the entire shea supply chain. From storage of raw materials to overseeing crushing at the factory, and loading of the oil produced in bulk. All of this was done using a Hands-on-Operations approach, expanding my knowledge of organizational processes at every level. While in this capacity, I also set up and managed a first-class laboratory complete with top-notch processes to ensure Quality Control.

I supervised the formation of Head Quarters located in the far east, gaining expertise in business formation and entrepreneurship. While operating in this position, I also built on my experience in, Sales, Quality Control, Company Management, and Networking.

2005 - 2006
In this capacity, I expanded my knowledge of Planning, S&OP, Risk Management, Waste Reduction, inter-cultural personnel management, and general Supply Chain Processes, including uncertainties. Operating in this role, I oversaw the receiving and storing of raw materials, and storing and shipping of finished goods. I also supervised interdepartmental and intradepartmental communications, along with supervising the day to day operations and any adjustment necessary to medium-term forecasts implemented.

I received excellent training under the tutelage of a Procurement visionary, decades ahead of his time, in procurement, contract negotiations, and the art of closing the deal. I also learned how to use the latest technologies effectively and gained the knowledge necessary to understand why relationships were important within the procurement process and re-defined the balance between relationships and commerce within Contract Management.
